Question

Is there any interest in doing this reading challenge again next year? I can set it up so it will start over again on January 1st of 2016. If you would like to please let me know in the comments.
Thanks!

  4. Thank you so much for this work. It has been a wonderful year for me, having discovered your BOM365 in February this year. I quickly caught up and walked the rest of the year with you by my side. I finished the Book of Mormon this year. What I loved most were the insightful talks that accompanied each day. They taught me as much. Thank you so much for guiding me through a year in the scriptures. I do hope you will continue this effort in 2016. I know I will. You know, we ARE studying the Book of Mormon this next year in Sunday School... (wink)

  15. I would like to use this blog from now until forever as it has helped both me and my family complete the Book of Mormon ... It has helped us in our efforts to come unto Christ and to remember Him.

  17. Hi Melissa,
Thanks for rolling this over to 2016. On the days that I didn't comment, I did read as I'm guessing many others did as well. I was concerned about you being discouraged during the year as I watched the visit counter show a gradual decrease in visitors. I can offer you one alternative explanation to the reason for the decrease, this is because your blog helped many establish a daily habit. For example, I noticed that we averaged roughly 18 verses a day, this helped me on the days I didn't have time to visit the blog, but I went straight to the scriptures.

The talks are a powerful addition to personal study time, I usually listen to the talk while getting ready (after I have read the passages). There were some real gems in there that I had never heard, some from a long time ago.

Finally, I have referred many close friends to your blog who struggle in the face of temptation. They visited anonymously but frequent your blog as a way to establish better study habits. If bringing souls to Christ was your intent, then you have succeeded (including my own) and done a great work - the depth of which you may not see in this lifetime. Please take heart in that during the dark moments you find yourself questioning this effort.
