Elder Bednar is such an articulated speaker. His opening remarks about wobbly knees is so humbling. His point though, in his remarks, were about being strengthened beyond our own ability when engaged in His work. I have felt that at times, but also the lack of help at times. I'm convinced those are moments of stretching, and somehow those difficult and struggling moments are calculated to make us better. Some would argue this, and claim these struggling moments are proof that there is no God. I just don't see it though, because I find myself allowing my kids to struggle sometimes when I feel like they are capable of working through it themselves, but it may require them to reach past their comfortable boundaries.
Whether we struggle alone or not depends on whether we are humble enough to ask for help, them recognize it when it comes.
