I keep coming back to this chapter to reflect on verse 5. The word "yielded" haunts me. The cross reference takes you to Romans chapter 6 where Paul says: "For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace. What then? shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid."
Here it is, taught plainly in the Bible, again, that although we are indeed saved 100%, completely by Grace - the Lord still expects us to live a life dedicated to His teachings, even requiring us to show some grit when things aren't easy. Paul cannot be any clearer, "God forbid," he says. It's not enough to simply accept that Christ atoned for our sins, yet live a life of self indulgence while considering ourselves as "nice to others." He expects his people to be covenant makers and keepers. It makes perfect sense that a complete restoration of the fullness of His gospel was required with all the Keys to officiate the authority the priesthood.
