I'm always impressed by Ammon because he could see the larger picture of bringing the Lamaniites to Christ, and he took leadership responsibility for the kings property and for his fellow servants. The Lord didn't tell him every detail what to do, Ammon trusted and was able to make himself a partner with God in accomplishing His work. He knew that nothing is too difficult for the Lord, so Ammon saw opportunity where the others saw despair.
