Love the talk posted today. This phrase from the talk has stuck with me, "Casual obedience and lukewarm commitment weaken faith."
The reason I like this is because it is a reminder to me that I am either progressing or regressing spiritually at all times. If I'm just "going through the motions" and saying repetitive prayers, glossing over the scriptures, etc., I would classify that as casual obedience, and so I would be regressing.
This talk is a good, simple reminder of what things we need to do to progress spiritually and stay close to the tree.
