What a great reminder from President Hinckley this morning to be positive. And I love in verse 3 where it says that the Lord will give me rest from sorrow, fear, and hard bondage. That pretty much covers it!
I love this talk. It is easy to recognize all of the hard things going on around us. Sometimes I feel like I just have to grit my teeth and get through it. But really, this life is meant to be enjoyed and I love that that is truly what Heavenly Father wants for us. Thanks for the reminder we receive from these scriptures and this talk!
Pres. Hinckley is my hero! What a great example he is to us on how to be optimistic. He lived through the great depression and remained positive throughout.
This type of optimism is not to be confused with being naive. President Hinckley just chose to see the good, and not focus on the bad.
