Thanks for that talk. It helped me understand the allegory of the tame and wild olive trees much better!
ReplyDeleteI've been thinking a lot lately about how much Heavenly Father wants us to live with Him again. He loves us so much and continues to give opportunities to return. In this allegory he digs and prunes and nourishes and grafts as much as he can to save the tree. What if the tree represents just me? There have been times when I have not produced good fruit and only trials (or poor spots of land) have saved me. Or times when I've needed others strength (grafts) to save me. He loves me so much!
