  1. What stuck out to me today was that there will always be those fighting against the righteous. It is so prevalent today. Our religious liberties are on the political chopping block. It's becoming harder to stand for what is right when the world is constantly yelling at us and berating us for what we believe. I am thankful for the promise that if we are obedient that we will be armed with the power of righteousness and be strengthened by the Lord. Sometimes it's difficult to hold on to our Faith that the Lord is in control and that he has a plan. In an ever increasingly wicked world we need to be a light to those around us and trust that Heavenly Father will guide and protect us. I loved how Elder Scott said we should be grateful that we feel like we don't belong all of the time because of our righteousness. I pray that my kids understand this and remember to make choices based on what is right, not on what is easy or popular. We need to strap on the armor of God and keep ourselves clean and spiritually prepared for the war that is raging.
